International Development and Operations Intern

Volunteer Role with expenses covered, 3-5 days a week

We have an exciting role for a reliable, independent, highly motivated intern to help out with international development work. The ideal candidates will have a strong written and verbal communication ability, good research skills and a passion for international development issues.

Deki[dot]org[dot]uk is a Bristol based charity that empowers people living in poverty to create sustainable livelihoods by providing access to ethical microloans and training. With Deki you can have a direct impact on people’s lives by lending anything from £10 upwards to your chosen entrepreneur in the developing world. There are no hidden fees or costs, so all your money will go directly to the entrepreneur you have chosen to support.

People in developing countries often don’t have access to financial services to start their business. Yet these are honest, hard-working people motivated by the same things as most of us: they want to make something of their lives, feed their families and send their children to school. Together we can empower them to work their way out of poverty. To find out more please visit the website deki[dot]org[dot]uk.
